Westview Healthcare Center Administrator in Training / Director of Evening Services in Auburn, California

This position is intended for a LVN or RN with clinical experience that also understands the business aspect of Skilled Care. The appropriate candidate will also reside in the general area of the facility.


Oversee the administrative and clinical functions of Westview Healthcare Center from 3 pm to 11 pm Monday – Friday. The goal of this position is to anticipate the needs of our patients, employees, family members, and other visitors to prevent complaints, resolve concerns, and when necessary, resolve complaints. Lead all departments on the PM shift to maintain a safe and happy environment for the facility’s patients, family members, and other visitors. This position reports directly to the Administrator for administrative areas and reports to the Director of Nursing for clinical areas.


Educational Requirements: Experience in administrative and nursing functions. RN is not required. Must be a legal resident of the United States of America Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Must have reliable transportation ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Customer Service duties include: Greeting new admissions to ensure patient and family happiness. Ensure patient concerns are being prevented and when necessary resolved. Resolve complaints of patients, family member, and employees. Ensure phones and call lights are answered timely. Nursing duties include: Overseeing and when necessary, assist with the admission process. Timely med pass Infection Control. Nursing Labor PPD Management with regards to maintaining appropriate staffing levels. Dietary duties include: Ensure meals and snacks are passed on time. Ensure kitchen and dining room are cleaned according to facility standard. Employees duties include: Ensure compliance to facility personnel policy in regards to uniform, breaks, lunches, etc. Approval of administrative and clinical overtime. Ensure 100% of employees are clocked in while working. Physical Plant Environment duties include: Ensure facility is free of smells Ensure facility is clean and safe according to facility standards. Must be comfortable in talking/working with hospitals, physicians, case managers, patients and family members regarding their admission to Arlington Gardens Care Center. Maintain confidentiality of pertinent patient data Any other duties as described by the Administrator and Director of Nursing. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
