Memory and I/O MIO is an organization within the Data Center Group DCG responsible for enabling the memory industry for Intel platform leadership and growth. In this position, you will be part of the Memory Validation team developing memory testing to Intel's lead platforms and on the Advantest HSM series of memory testers.

Your responsibilities in this group will be to test DDR memory on a memory tester or in the next generation of Intel's lead server platforms. You will use various memory test programs to characterize memory, write software to automate data collection through various test instruments, and parse and format data output from memory testers. Results will be reported into engineering development forums and further experiments will be designed.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum requirements:

  • The candidate must be pursuing a MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in:

  • C/C++ Programming

  • Computer Architecture

  • Digital Multimeters

  • Power supplies

Preferred Requirements:

  • PC assembly and troubleshooting

  • Installing operating systems and test equipment
