Position Summary:

The Advanced Robotic Program Leader is responsible for developing and implementing services and activities related to the Robotics Program including managing, training, and marketing. Responsible for ensuring the patient receives the best possible clinical and service experience from the time of surgery as Surgical First Assistant and including rounding as a Registered Nurse during the patient's hospitalization. Will maintain quality standards for responsive service including data management of key quality indicators. Serves as a liaison between the physicians, nursing staff, allied healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three years of operating room experience and 2 years current surgical first assistant experience required.

  • RN license, BLS, ACLS

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse Program

  • Certification for First Assistant. Working knowledge of performance improvement, licensure and accreditation requirements. Demonstrate good capacity for teaching, organizing, planning, and development. Possess strong interpersonal communication and customer relation skills. Possess knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Internet

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Robotic surgery experience preferred. Urology, gynecology, and general surgery experience preferred.
