Our client has a permanent opportunity for a SalesForce Admin/Engineer in Sacramento, CA.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving start up!

This role will be part of our client's Implementation Team in and help design, build, and deliver CRM-focused communication solutions to support the company and their customers. Our client is looking for a candidate who will be customer facing, engaging in daily meeting while customizing our client's software to the customer's needs. Full installation, configuration and deployment of our client's product will be the daily activities of this role.

General Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years experience working with Salesforce.com/Microsft CRM

  • Salesforce.com Certified in one or more of these certifications preferred: Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform App Developer, Sales Cloud Consultant, Advanced Administrator

  • Experience programming in Apex and Visualforce or similar languages Java/Javascript/HTML5

  • College/University degree in Computer Science/MIS or comparable field

Job Responsibilities

The Implementation Engineer's primary focus is in 4 main areas - Onboarding, Professional Services, Troubleshooting, and internal Salesforce development projects.

Onboarding

The Implementation Engineer is part of the client onboarding process. This entails guiding customers through each stage of the onboarding process - from discovery to configuration to training and go live. The end goal is to fully setup and configure our client's product to best meet their customers use cases.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has:

  • Experience leading client facing meetings ranging from gathering project requirements, training administrators on our client's product, leading technical demos, and troubleshooting

  • Ability to manage timelines for multiple clients and projects concurrently at any given period

  • Ability to effectively communicate to both a sales and technical audience

  • Ability to create documentation and component lists for custom deployments

  • Knowledge of implementing Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions

  • CRM/Software/IT Consulting experience

  • Experience creating Scope of Work documents detailing projects requirements, timelines, deliverables, and details for specific development tasks

  • Experience creating documentation and component lists for custom configuration

  • Ability to consult on and adhere to best practices regarding CRM and our client's implementation

  • Ability to accurately and consistently log notes and time for each project in Salesforce

  • CRM/Software/IT Consulting experience

Professional Services

This role also works on Professional Service projects. These range from building custom features, Salesforce/Microsoft Dynamics development, building reports and dashboards to full CRM Org migrations.

Troubleshooting

This role also handles escalated technical support tickets. These issues require a broad knowledge of our client's product as well as Salesforce and Dynamics CRM to resolve.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has:

  • Ability to identify root causes of complex issues and implement solutions

  • Experience in resolving tickets efficiently and with clear communication

  • Experience creating documentation and walk-throughs on how to resolve issues

  • Ability to accurately and consistently log notes and time for each ticket in Salesforce

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • CRM/Software/IT technical support experience

Salesforce Development

Our client's Implementation team manages the internal Salesforce CRM development. Task include but are not limited to: data management, deduplication, installing AppExchange packages, customizing page layouts, creating fields and troubleshooting. The team's goal is to configure Salesforce to best meet the internal needs of each department.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has:

  • Ability to develop effective solutions to meet internal business needs

  • Experience creating process documentation and business flowcharts

  • Experience using the Salesforce declarative toolset: Process Builder, Workflows, Flows, Data Loader, Change Sets, Email Services etc.

  • Experience with Apex programming language

  • Experience with Visualforce/Lightning Components
